Q: Whats better to buy? New or used?
A: This is a question of budget and expectations. Used furniture can be is in as almost as good of a shape as new or it can be in a rough shape - all depends on the particular item. We carry a lot of name brand used as well as brand new furniture that can fit any budget.
Used furniture normally averages 10%-50% of the new furniture cost and can save you a lot of money. New furniture will have a more contemporary look but at a high price. Keep in mind office furniture is generally expensive. Q: Why is some used furniture more expensive than brand new?
A: Same reason used Mercedes can cost more than brand new Chevrolet. Brand name furniture (usually far superior in quality and design) can be really expensive. Used brand name furniture is much much cheaper, but still can be more expensive compared to a cheaply made product. Functionality, comfort, durability, quality of material used during manufacturing will probably cost more used or new, but will pay off tenfold in the end because it will last longer (after all you dont buy furniture every day!) and most important of all will improve yours and your staff productivity (a proven fact!).
Q: I can buy a brand new office chair from Wall-Mart for $14! Why should I buy used for $35?
A: $14 new chair is an extremely cheaply made product which has no durability at all nevermind comfort. It is NOT a good deal - it is just a cheap cheap product. We have used chairs that cost $35 that cost $150+ for brand new - those chairs you can actually sit on
